We explore Sofia’s nightlife since 1994 with sophistication (that’s why we are the Owls) and an attention to the detail. Thankfuly to our international experience from more than 15 top European destinations, we have built a system of standards and values due to which our pub crawl participants would feel in the right place, where cultural differences are topic for friendly discussions, rather than a concern.
Our pub crawls are mostly in places where we have a personal relationship with the venue’s security and bar staff so that our participants feel like well-known guests; to feel like they’re at their favorite local bar in their hometown neighborhood where “Everybody Knows Your Name.“

Are you a sole traveler in Sofia for the weekend? Do you have just a night in the capital before you head to your main destination? Your business meeting just finished but you do not feel like going to bed yet or you are new in the town and would like to have some fun with people like you? Whatever the scenario is – do not hesitate and join the Sofia owls pub crawl! Escape the trap of the high rated by fake reviews places and visit some of the coolest Sofia’s bars – hidden treasures that sometimes are hard to find even with a navigation, in a completely safe and friendly environment! We run our crawls a whole year round, 7 days a week as long as there are enough bookings. So, you can take your chances and just come to the meeting point (in front of the National Theatre) at the right time (9 pm) or better you can book your place with no upfront payment!

For 30lv (15 Euro) you will get an English-speaking guide (some other languages are possible); a visit to 3 bars and a night club with free shots on every spot and free entrances to all the venues. If you are lucky, you could attend a standup comedy in English or listen to life music in some of the establishments.
No, according to Bulgarian legislation, children are not allowed to stay after 10 pm. in alcohol establishments even when accompanied by their parents but yet some establishments refuse entry even before that.
No, people under age of 18 are not allowed to take part in our pub crawl, so be sure to bring your photo ID for eventual check!
We provide this option for groups of 6+ people but still meeting point should be close to the original one since the route of the tour is in accordance to it. For bigger groups we can organise a private tour which can include a transportation to the meeting point and a guide on a different language (Spanish, Greek, Russian, Dutch and German) after agreement. Just drop us your request early enough to react.
Don’t worry, just give us a call. Every bar crawl starts with a short induction so if you think you will be within 15 minutes, we will wait for you. If you will be late longer, you could catch up with us on our way between the venues.
The only mandatory things to bring are a photo ID, a bank card and a good mood!
Not necessarily since we and most of the venues accept card payments but it would be useful to have some cash for tips and taxi eventually.
If you don’t have any other option – bring it with you. BUT our advice is to keep your personal belongings to a minimum. On the one hand, usually the establishments do not have designated places to store luggage, on the other hand, it could be searched by the security of the venews, which would lead to a delay of the whole group.
